Course Objective:

1. Understanding the requirements of Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 96
2. Awareness of company-specific hazards relating by applying Threat Assessment Critical Control Points (TACCP) principles
3. Knowledge on performing correct implementation of PAS 96

Course Outline:

1. Introduction of PAS 96:2017
2. TACCP principles for food and drink defence
3. Methodology of TACCP treat assessment
    a. Identify potential types of threats and attackers
    b. Priorities threats to be addressed
    c. Determine critical controls required to mitigate threats
    d. Strategies to strengthen food protection arrangements

Prerequisites:

Public health policy and visit control concept in the GMP
